EE Solution Architect

We are looking for engaged engineers with the skills, expertise and, more importantly, passion to take our electrical and electronic system to the next level. The group is responsible for leading the design and evolution of the EE architecture (both software and hardware topologywise), as well as establishing the roadmaps capturing that evolution.


Job description
As a Solution Architect you are in the centre of shaping the future of our EE architecture. You will drive and engage in discussions and investigations related to the EE architecture, its vision and its evolution, together with system architects in other development organisations. You will be on top of the EE architecture related roadmaps, as well as keeping track of and resolve the gaps and deviations between the plans and the current solutions. You will also manage and build the team’s backlog and anchor our activities with active in supporting the development organisations in their transition to the next architecture.


To be successful in this position you need to have:
Excellent insight and understanding of the challenges and trends in EE Architecture.
A well-developed and profound system thinking and holistic view while having good insight in major technologies present in contemporary automotive embedded systems
A good eye on identifying gaps, flaws and contradictions, as well as finding solutions for them.
Good command of stakeholder management and getting people onboard

Profile and qualifications:
MSc in Electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent
Long practical experience in EE and software related system and product development, leadership and strategy work.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
