Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior EE System Architect/System Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What You Will Work On:
Design, implement, and test Automotive systems including body/comfort, chassis, powertrain, infotainment, diagnostics, connected systems, and over-the-air software updates.
Develop and define system architecture, create requirements specifications, design and performance models, and integrate systems while applying Systems Engineering principles.
Decompose high-level requirements into Vehicle and System levels and provide design guidance to ensure alignment with higher-level product and legal requirements.
Lead technical design efforts and provide technical guidance to peers, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as Automotive SPICE, CMMI, ISO 26262, ISO 21434, and SUMS.
Utilize IBM Rational DOORS, Jama, or similar tools for requirements management.
Develop and implement automotive network designs (CAN, Ethernet, LIN).
Manage daily tasks using JIRA, preferably within an AGILE framework.
Apply Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and SysML tooling in system design.
Work with diagnostic standards such as UDS, DoIP, and design for manufacture.
Collaborate with a wide development team, providing technical leadership and acting as a reference point for architectural design.
What You Bring:
A degree in Systems, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Automotive Software Engineering.
Demonstrable experience in the design, implementation, and testing of Automotive systems.
Proficiency in system definition, architecture development, requirements specification, design/performance modeling, systems integration, and acceptance testing.
Ability to decompose high-level requirements into detailed system requirements and provide design guidance.
Experience with IBM Rational DOORS, Jama, or similar tools.
Expertise in automotive network designs, including CAN, Ethernet, and LIN.
Proficiency in JIRA and experience with AGILE or similar task management methodologies.
Familiarity with Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and SysML tooling.
Knowledge of diagnostic standards such as UDS and DoIP, and experience in design for manufacture.
Proven technical leadership skills and the ability to guide peers in architectural design.
Knowledge of standards such as Automotive SPICE, CMMI, ISO 26262, ISO 21434, and SUMS.
Willingness to travel within Europe, approximately once per month
