Job Description
We are looking for an outstanding individual to help our client’s Data Curation team part-time, as an Egyptian Arabic Language Data Curator. Over the course of this project, the team is responsible for transcribing descriptions of music that power multiple features in their platform. The goal is to increase the confidence level in the accuracy of their translations, which will eventually impact the way their users interact with some of their music experiences.

You’ll work in web-based applications they have built to curate and analyze the data, providing corrections and translations for particular words and phrases.

This position is fully remote.

What you’ll do:
• Work part-time in a field focusing on translation quality data that trains ML models
• Validate or manually translate English terms into Egyptian Arabic
• Evaluate quality of the iteration of the model as it improves
• Meet weekly and monthly translation targets
• Translate established guidelines into daily work practices
• Contribute to process improvements to reduce handling time and increase output
• Work closely with a small team passionate about data and recommendations quality

No coding or development experience is needed, but we do require the capacity to learn constantly. Admission and Application
Part-time position, fully remote. The position will start as soon as possible, and the assignment is expected to run until the end of December 2023, with possible extension.
