The location for this position is in Veddesta, Stockholm and travelling to our sites in Sweden is part of your job. Travel within Europe may occur.
Your mission
Responsible for supporting our business to take the next steps towards zero harm and a sustainable future, in close collaboration with the EHS team in Northern Europe and the department managers.
Lead the development of the EHS management system, facilitate continuous development of our procedures and promote the global EHS agenda and roadmap that sets the scene for a safety-first culture and a healthy workplace.
Lead campaigns to get the entire organization to understand and sign off on what it takes to walk in the forefront in this area.
Consolidate monthly reporting to stakeholders and other administrating tasks.
Travel to our sites in Sweden to make sure we sustain a high EHS culture throughout the area.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supporting EHS audits, participate in customers meetings, follow up on hazards and incident reporting, and make sure that we are compliant in legislative and internal required demands.
Requirements
University degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience through previous work, such as Health and Safety, Risk Management or Engineering.
In depth knowledge in the field of EHS.
Solid background in leading and driving EHS in an international environment and activities related to cultural change as well as working over borders.
Experienced in EHS management systems and the Swedish work environment legislation.
Knowledge in conducting audits, risk assessments, incident investigations and root cause analysis.
Development and implementation of EHS plans as well as driving Safety campaigns independently.
It is advantageous if you have experience from mines, construction or the tunnel industry.
Fluent in both English and Swedish.
