EHS Manager Sweden (255366)
We are now looking for an experienced EHS Manager with at least 7 years at senior management level with a strong occupational health, safety, and environmental background. You will need to work independently but also have diplomatic team skills to be able to smoothly coordinate and democratically conclude the way forwards on a country level. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills in both English and Swedish (written and oral).
Report to the MD of the legal entities in Sweden, the EHS Managers main functions are:
To ensure the legal entities are compliant with EHS legislation and fulfil their statutory reporting and other obligations in Sweden
Be the focal point for all processes and system that are common across the 3 product lines
Be a key member of the Nordics regional EHS team, bringing experience and knowledge to the group.
Skills and experience we are looking for:
In depth knowledge and practical experience with Swedish:
Occupation Health and Safety legislation
Environmental legislation
Statutory reporting requirements for Environment and Occupational Health & Safety
Environment and Occupational Health & Safety delegation of authority routines
Dialogue and negotiations with Unions on Occupational Health & Safety matters
Risk assessments for organisational change
Requirements for Safety/work environment Committees
EHS training requirements, planning and coordinating statutory required training as well as monitoring and ensuring suitable recording
Experience with general EHS tasks at senior management level required for a company in Sweden, amongst others to include:
Annual financial report EHS sections
Budgeting to enable budgeting at the country level EHS costs and consolidation of budgets from the 3 product lines in Sweden.
In depth knowledge of the requirements of ISO 14001 & 45001, and has previously implemented/maintained these certificates in a complex matrix organisation
Coordination of all EHS audits from 3rd parties including central Alstom
Significant practical experience with setting up, training, coaching, and drilling Crisis management teams
Experience with managing Sysource/ iChemistry and general chemical management at the country level
