The EHS Specialist at HemoCue is responsible for driving, developing, and maintaining the operational EHS work at HemoCue. This position is part of Operations, located in Ängelholm. At HemoCue, our vision is to do things easier, to do things better, and to do them right.
You will be a part of the EHS team and report to Manager EHS and DBSL, responsible for EHS, sustainability and continuous improvements. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Independently drive the operational EHS work for HemoCue.
Develop and enforce EHS policies and procedures, as well as lead cross functional EHS initiatives.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement in safety and environmental practices.
Build key expertise and achieve certification in specific EHS methodologies and provide training to others.
Work in a collaborative and inclusive environment and drive partnerships with external stakeholders, with substantial opportunities for professional development.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor´s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
Long-standing industry experience in EHS roles
Comprehensive knowledge of EHS regulations, standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001), and best practices.
In-depth experience in management systems, risk management, legal surveillance, performing audits, environmental impact assessments, chemicals management etc.
Excellent verbal and written Swedish and English.
