Assisting the senior finance officer in managing, processing and troubleshooting various accounts and transactions. This position would be well suited to someone eager to expand their understanding of accounting and back end business practices, perhaps you have entrepreneurial aspirations and want to spend a few years honing your financial skills. The tasks will vary depending on the needs of the senior economic manager, but a broad ability to learn and desire for end to end understanding is prefered over taskrabbits. There will be repetitive work in some forms such as invoices. The work is less manual accounting and more working with SI files. Experience with VISMA or other accounting software is highly desired and a proficiency in Swedish is a must. Your commitment time needs to be at least 1 year.

Complete various administrative tasks outside of accounting as needed such as but not limited to insurance, contracts and phone calls.
Process and prepare financial and business forms for the purpose of checking account balances, facilitating purchases, etc.
Perform routine calculations to produce analyses and reports as requested by the finance director
Help oversee and manage individual accounts
Create, send, and follow up on invoices
Review and adhere to department budgets
Collect and enter data for various financial spreadsheets
Review and audit financial statements and reports, ensure all calculations and data entries are correct
Reconcile any discrepancies or errors identified by conversing with employees and/or clients
Report any troubling discoveries or suspicion of wrongdoing to the proper authorities
Collect information for and prepare payroll payments for employees
Assist the financial director in creating financial reports on a regular basis
Adhere to the company's or organisation's financial policies and procedures
Answers question and provide assistance to stakeholders, customers, and clients as needed
Attend finance department and company-wide meetings, sometimes assisting with financial reporting to managers and senior executives
Suggest changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed, this list is intended as a guide, tasks and responsibilities may be added to it or refined as needed by the Ängsbacka organization



Education and/or Experience:
Must speak Swedish, associate's or bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business or a related field; accounting excellent mathematical skills; must have knowledge on externredovisning and law concerning accounting within Sweden; understanding of data privacy standards; integrity; honesty; customer-service skills; solid communication skills, both written and verbal; familiarity with business principles and practices; superior attention to detail; organisational skills; planning skills; problem-solving skills; analytical skills; critical thinking skills; computer skills, particularly with spreadsheets and calculation software.
