Responsibilities shall include:
- Identifying acquisition and investment opportunities, assessing their strategic fit and valuing propositions
- Maintaining group M&A pipelines and preparation of updates on M&A opportunities
- Carrying out due diligence on organisations, ensuring that we can work in partnership, operationally, financially and ethically
- Support the integration of acquired companies
- In this position you will be responsible for the overall strategic and operational performance of the organisation.
- Full line management responsibilities of the Finance functions including task allocation, managing workflow, overseeing payroll, monitoring the quality of work and performance management.
- Preparing periodic financial reports, including monthly accounts, VAT returns, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and commentaries.
Skills & Experience
- Analytical Ability
- Ability to work well independently and as a team player in a very fast passed and dynamic environment
- Strong Finance and Accounting experience in developing effective strategies, procedures and processes to suit a growing organization
- Excellent Communications, Presentation, Reporting and IT skills
- Should have an energetic and enthusiastic approach to work
- Track record of achieving results and resolving complex issues
- Basic knowledge of management accounting is a prerequisite
- Banking or Financial Services background, working at senior management level or is looking for next step upward.
