Till vår uthyrningsverksamhet söker vi just nu en senior Configuration Manager som kommer att arbeta på ett uppdrag på Volvo Cars under minst hela nästa år.Position Description The GCC (Global Car Configurator) Configuration Manager will primarily work and have responsibility for the leading, planning and version control of the applications.Designs and implements a build and deploy process. Configuration Manager Activities: - Responsible for Configuration Management planning and scope.- Maintains GCC SCM plan and project specific SCM plans.- Continuously assure that the SCM plan is followed - Responsible for change management process is defined and in compliance with Ford standards - Ensure that it s possible to track changes in the applications (etracker process for each release).- Identify configuration items such as Source code, configuration files, data files, documentation etc.- Responsible for version and release management, tracking releases and versions in different environment.- Maintains and develop build and deploy tools.- Manages version control systems for GCC, CVS usage and structure, branches etc.- Builds system drops for releases - Coordinate deploys together with WASGOT - Support QA with builds and deploys - Ensures the releases hold specified changes and has passed required reviews and tests. Skills Required Practical experience of: - Ant, CVS, WAS, RAD7, IHS (Apache), Linux - Configuration of WAS - Software management according to Unified SDM (Unified Solution Methodology)/RUP Skills Preferred Practical experience in: - Object oriented system design and development - administration of WebSphere - Skills in Object oriented programming languages Java (J2EE) and UML - experience in developing systems/applications on Web sphere (WSAD) and Oracle - experience in developing software according to the Object oriented concept - Practical experience from work within integrations platform project, applying techniques as JMS, XSD, OAGIS (XML) - Experience in applying the following techniques is a plus: Struts, Oracle PL/SQL, MQ Series (IBM).Linux experience. Other - Structured and analytical - Team player - System support and maintenance experience - Be able to easily express yourself in spoken and written Swedish and English.
