Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Saber/Wire Harness Design Engineer and is located in Stockholm, Sweden. The Saber/Wire Harness Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing wire harness and cable assemblies using Saber, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and provide customized solutions, and will work closely with product managers and other engineers to design and implement product features.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field
4+ years of experience in wire harness and cable assembly design using Saber
Experience with schematic capture, PCB layout, and electromechanical design
Strong proficiency in Engineering CAD software, such as Catia V6/ Siemens NX
Excellent knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements, such as IPC and UL
Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
Leadership skills with coordinating with other engineers.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and collaborative teams
