Tasks
Our customers and their projects are in all areas of the electrical power industry: transmission/distribution/substation, FACTS/HVDC, generation power plants, station automation, SCADA/EMS/DMS, Wind & Solar power.
As a secondary designer with us, you will work with the latest technology at various companies in power grids, electricity and energy within projects and tenders. You will have a leading role in secondary designs in large and complex high voltage, air and gas insulated projects in various types of electrical power plants. The most important thing in your role is to meet the customer's needs and to follow legal requirements and standards to ensure that the projects are implemented on time.
In your role you will (including but not limited to):
• be responsible for the control plant, work with the development of single line diagrams/three phase schedules, control diagrams, compilation and wiring diagrams, relay layouts, and cable tables
• provide technical calculations and purchase specifications for auxiliary power system components
• provide information for civil design and coordination of interfaces across all disciplines
• prepare BOM and cost calculation, deviations, and clarifications
• review suppliers’ designs, FAT plans, participate in FAT and SAT
• prepare/validate and approve the design of protection and control systems (P&C) for HV and MV stations
• provide technical support in tenders and related documents in the projects
• engage in discussions with customers, manage site queries, and be responsible for final documentation

If you have knowledge and experience as a senior electric power engineer from the electric power industry, preferably as lead engineer and/or technical project manager, it would be an advantage.

Your experience and skills
You have relevant training and experience from the role of secondary designer, and know secondary technology as EPC, E3, FEBDOC or equivalent. You also have experience from the Electrical Power industry of working with Swedish or International Utilities and International suppliers, and the knowledge of the necessary legal requirements and standards. If you have knowledge and experience in installation, commissioning, and international projects as well as handling design and calculation tools, AutoCAD, MicroStation or Revit, it would be an advantage.
You manage MS Office, have a valid driving license and speak and write English
