This position offers you the challenge to find the right technical solutions and secure high-quality deliveries for existing and next generations of EVAC. Join us as a fantastic mechanical engineer in the exciting journey to develop the next generation of Electric Vehicle Air Compressors (EVAC).
About the role
The position is part of the Vehicle Dynamics sub-stream within VMEM.
A new group, globally responsible for EVAC, is being formed in Gothenburg, and being part of creating that group will be a very interesting journey.
In your daily work you will:
Lead, drive and execute system design activities as a part of the technology team from cradle to grave.
Ensure new designs fulfill business targets, requirements, and Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Feature targets
Have a holistic view on deliverables from other interfaces to secure quality & readiness before release.
Document design change notices and structural components in the PDM system
Develop modular systems and components to optimize part diversity
Integrate deliveries from others and secure quality readiness before release
Contributes to innovations or technologies that are regarded as important advances in the field.
In this role you will report to the EVAC Group Manager.
Who are you?

In order to succeed in your new role, we think you have:
MSc Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics or similar
>5 years’ experience from product development of mechatronic systems in the automotive industry
Excellent communication skills
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Experience from supplier management experience in the automotive industry
Experience from agile product development using the SAFe framework is a merit
Hands on experience in CREO tool
Knowledge in the testing methods including EMC, Electronic hardware, electronic components & ECUs
Knowledge of DFMEA/SFMEA and other quality tools
