Electrical AIT Engineer

GomSpace is looking to expand the Platform team in Uppsala, Sweden, with an Electrical AIT Engineer. You will have the opportunity to become part of an internationally oriented and dedicated team aiming at providing exceptional propulsion solutions for nanosatellites to customers on the global market.

If you find yourself excited about CubeSat technology, building real space systems and being a technical anchor point for the propulsion system design and integration into nanosatellite systems, then you should apply for this position.

The role includes the following tasks:
· Participate in propulsion system integration and verification activities, mainly with regards to testing electrical and software qualities of the products and the making of associated test setups.
· Carry out functional testing of propulsion hardware in accordance with GomSpace’s QA procedures, including both acceptance testing as part of manufacturing and qualification testing as part of development projects, mainly with regards to testing electrical and software qualities of the products and the making of associated test setups.
· Responsible for the writing of test procedures and test reports in accordance with GomSpace’s QA procedures.
· Writing test scripts in Python and LabView.

We expect the employee to have several or all of the following qualifications:
· Relevant technical education to at least a master’s degree
· Work experience (3+ years preferred) in testing of space hardware according to relevant space standards
· Previous experience in configuring and using test setups using LabView and/or Python
· Practical experience from work in a cleanroom environment and with electrical sensors and related equipment
· Fluent in English on a professional level
· Quality awareness – understanding the importance of following processes and documenting your work

Experience in the following areas is a plus:
· Embedded systems
· Design and verification of printed circuit boards
· Any experience in software, especially the ability to read and understand C code
