Electrical and Embedded Lead Engineer

TATA Technologies Nordics AB is now looking for a Electrical and Embedded Lead Engineer who will be responsible for the Design, Define and Writing Customer and Technical Requirements. You will work closely with System Engineers to understand the Chassis Control Feature and help them to come up with good and quality Requirement Decks.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a library of Software Requirements within IBM Rational DOORS.
Ensure that the necessary requirements are created, baselined, reviewed, published and tracked at a programme level.
Liaising and build relationships with the system supplier to ensure requirements meet Client’s standards.
Resolving the requirements ambiguities, the misunderstandings, and add the missing requirements as well as establishing traceability reference to the related Requirement.
Review Test Cases and Test Reports designed by other teams, to cross check if all the requirements are covered in the test cases.
Maintain and improve Requirement Cascade processes, techniques and tools to ensure robust and reliable software delivery to automotive industry standards.
Provide technical engineering expertise in areas such as configuration management, documentation, and change management.
Engage with SME, Lead Engineers and Technical Specialists to drive cultural change within the team in pursuit of technical excellence and efficient delivery.
Requirements
Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical, Control systems, Embedded Electronics or related technical field of study.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles.
Automotive Industry experience in development environments – Must.
Experience of Chassis Motion Control feature functional aspect- Must.
Good knowledge of Systems Engineering (Requirement Elicitation and management) along with V-model.
Significant experience of Requirements development using industry standard tools, with DOORS experience being advantageous.
Practical experience in developing SMART (Specific, Measurable, Assignable, Realistic and Time related) requirements at a functional and technical/implementation level.
Basic knowledge of ASPICE Guidelines (SYS1, SYS2).
Experience working as a Requirements Engineer in a technical environment with safety critical systems design or development experience.
Experience of Verification & Validation environments, producing assurance evidence and documentation.
Excellent communication, report writing, and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to take the lead to improve testing processes and capabilities.
Awareness of Functional Safety Standard as per ISO26262 will be highly preferred.
