Maintenance department is divided into seven groups: Maintenance project, Reliability Maintenance, Maintenance coordination, Inspection, Warehouse, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation. As a manager for Electrical and Instrumentation you will be reporting to the Maintenance Technical Services Manager.
You will be a part of our continuous development within the Electrical and Instrumentation. With a long-term strategy combine with innovation you will strive to optimize our processes and the preventive maintenance.


Electrical and Instrumentation department is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance and is also one of the key functions in projects and major maintenance revisions. Furthermore, the department work closely with all departments in the Refinery as well as cooperation and contact with suppliers.
Key responsibilities
As the Manager of the Electrical and Instrumentation you will manage and develop the group of 12 employees divided in disciplines of electrical and instrumentation. You will secure resources, internal as well as external, to ensure your group can fulfil the commitments to the refinery.
You are a part of the Maintenance management team and thereby the support and development of Nynas Technical Standards, Nynas management system for your group, and the group procedures.
Part of the role is operational in terms of fulfilling and executing of the work as well as planning and coordination.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for:
Budget planning for the department and follow-up.
Personnel management.
Implement 5S and KPI’s in your department.
Operational control and reporting.
Secure the quality of delivered services within the department.



Candidate profile
To do well in this position you need to have the ability to work independently as well as in teams and enjoy taking the lead for developing- and transformation processes within your disciplines. As a person, you need to be accurate, structured, service minded and a good communicator. To apply for this position, you need to fulfill the following criteria’s:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical or instrumentation or Automation engineering or has equivalent work experience and training.
Documented experience as a leader.
Fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken.
Experience working within the maintenance department from process-, or production industry.
Experience of working with maintenance management system like CAM, SAP, Maximo or similar.
Merit if you have Electrical Authorization as per National Electrical Safety bord (Elsäkerhetsverket).
