We currently have a vacancy for an Electrical & Automation System Development Engineer within our Testing and Laboratory facility, and we are looking for a new team member for this creative position.

We are looking for a person interested in Test facility and test bench electrical systems development, and specifically towards our test rigs electrical infra-structure. Engine Testing Development ( ETD ) within Product Solutions Development is responsible to secure that Test management, Virtual testing environment, test equipment, testing interface, test benches and installations for heavy duty Industrial, Marine engine and new technology applications are optimised and fulfil testing requirement This is according to established routines and legislation so that we are able to perform product development test measurement in a quality assured way, this is where you come into the picture as an Electrical Systems Development Engineer working within our test facility team setting the electrical strategy and robustness for present and future testing.


As an Electrical & Automation Systems Development Engineer you will be involved in:
Working as part of a team developing and overseeing the maintaining of our Test center electrical installations specific to product testing solutions. The role will be challenging to ensure we adhere to strict installation and safety strategies whilst building the future strategies and investments that will secure our test facility and testing systems. This can be from project lead simple programming for regulation systems up to building complete new solutions for testing with focus on the electrical infrastructure and rig specific electrical requirements.


Certainly there are a few things you need to know, some experience and qualifications that probably will make the job easier, so let us go through them;


Knowledge areas / Qualifications / Experience
Knowledge of Facility and process systems electrical installations and safety standards.
Experience within Electrical systems supporting both construction and programming.
Hands on working experience with automation systems and integration.
Experience of PLC systems installations, programming, application strategies.
Experience within Project Lead and technical representative.
Passion for Electrical /mechanical systems – integration, verification.
Building strategies for future development of the test facility electrical infra structure.
Investment request project lead and case building for site strategies for electrical installations-test facility.
