Electrical Design Engineer

You will be a part of electrical department – an engaged group with electrical design engineers operating from Västerås and from our secondary design office in India. We deliver solutions for control, protection and auxiliary systems in the FACTS environment.
Your responsibilities
You will be responsible for design of sub-systems such as Control, Relay Protection and Auxiliary power.
You will manage tenders.
You will provide your technical expertise and play an important role in our international projects, as well as contribute to our organizational and operational development.
Working in close collaboration with Design Engineers in Sweden, India and North America as well as with our customers and suppliers, you will not only have great opportunities to deepen your skills and broaden your network, but also get to travel the world.
You will get the possibility to attend commission assignments.

Your background
You need to have an analytical mindset combined with a focus on quality and the ability to propose and design solutions.
Since you hold high quality and on time delivery as equally important, you manage your own planning with diligence.
As a natural team player, you are communicative, collaborative and always open to new ideas.
You have a Technical High School diploma, and experience in a similar role within the area of Power Systems.
It is valuable if you have a University degree in Electrical Engineering and have experience in Electrical Design, Relay Protection Configuration & Testing, Auxiliary Power calculations, commissioning, E3 CAD tool as a user or super user, and/or Model Based Design.
Since you will be part of a global business, you need to be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Proficiency in Swedish, German, Arabic and/or Spanish is an advantage.
