About the job

With this position you will become a part of the global Automation Development team, which is responsible for the development of advanced control systems and IoT solutions for all Alfa Laval core products.

As our new Electrical Design Engineer you will develop our automation systems in an Agile environment throughout the whole product lifecycle.

Your main tasks
* Carry out electrical & instrumentation engineering on Automation and Industrial IoT devices which include sprint task specification, necessary technical documentation, compliance's and safety related tasks.
* Review engineering drawings and analyse design.
* Design of electrical panels and perform relevant calculations and assessments.
* Work with all tasks relevant for the team, in order to secure team success.
* Stay up to date with new technology and tools and be able to implement if necessary.
* Contribute in defining the quality assurance process for the panel design & testing.
* Cross site collaboration in our Device Competence Space.
* Working on Automation solution life cycle management & supporting the team with clarifying the queries/questions.
* Contribute to a vibrant workspace where knowledge sharing, delivering as a team and face-to-face interaction are vital components

Who are you?
* Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering degree.
* Fluent written and spoken English.
* Detailed knowledge of different designing tools ACAD and ePlan P8 is added advantage.
* Experience with engineering drawings.
* Relevant experience with project work, Product development.
* Cross-cultural awareness.
* Working on collaborative tools & cross-country interactions.
* Agile mindset.
* Open for learnings & Sharing.
