What do we do?
The Concept team exist within the complete ART EI, Electrical Infrastructure. This team is responsible for the high-level design of the electrical infrastructure in early phases and platforms. The work contains electrical design (schematic), 3d wiring harness design and also future strategies for the electrical infrastructure. The Concept team is working with both HV and LV harness design and have competence within 3D modelling, schematic, grounding strategies, harness manufacturing, EMC and ELP.
Your key tasks
A position is now available as Electrical Design Engineer to help us define and develop our future galvanic electrical structure. The job entails the integration of all electrical interfaces; balancing numerous requirements from Electrical performance, EMC and communication demands to architecture layout and mechanical integration demands.
The works includes to design the total electrical solution for ART EI such as 3D models and system solutions in a high-level design. Including attributes such as EMC, ELP, grounding strategies. Working in a highly effective team you strive to continually develop yourself and the team; you contribute in developing new ways of working to be at the forefront of industry.
Main responsibilities
- Initiate, lead and drive your part of the Electrical distribution system needs to fulfil requirements
- Perform investigations on subsystem and architecture level to reach reliability, cost and performance in the electrical system
- Be part of team efforts to develop solutions cross platforms
You and your skills
Required qualifications
− MSc / BSc in Electrical & Electronic engineering or Mechatronics.
− Experience in HW electrical design according to design guidelines
− Experience in system development process
− Previous experience within electrical system development
− Fluent in English, written and spoken
Preferred qualifications
- Power distribution system development;
- Grounding system development;
- Wire harness partitioning;
- Vehicle electrical architecture development;
- Product complexity;
- Creating/Drafting system designs/schematics (Saber/Capital Design);
- Validating system design;
- FMEA;
- System safety;
- EMC;
- EDS/harness design/manufacturing;
