Electrical Design Engineer

As our new team member you will be part of the department of Standard Controls. We are the technology drivers within FlexLink! We evaluate new solutions and technologies related to controls before bringing them into R&D-projects or system sales. We also provide expert knowledge in relevant standards, regulations and technologies.
We are now looking for you, our newest colleague, to strengthen our team and help us speed up the development of our projects!
This is what you will do
In this role, you will design, develop & maintain the FlexLink Controls platform – our preferred platform of technology and system architecture for controlling modules and complete lines. It involves developing internal standards, guidelines, tools and complete functions for material flow solutions.
You will also:
Be responsible for managing subprojects
Prepare technical presentations and train controls engineers within FlexLink
Cooperate closely with the project fulfillment organization
Cooperate with other Coesia resources



This is you
To be successful in your new role, we believe that you hold an engineering degree with some years of work experience. You are a driven, creative and enthusiastic person that is able to work independently. You have attention to detail and have good analytical skills combined with your structured way of working.
Other skills are:
Knowledge within industrial automation
Experience in automation architectures involving multiple products and technologies
Solid experience in electrical design and relevant industry standards
Very good knowledge in electrical engineering software (preferably Eplan)
Good knowledge in PLC/HMI programming
Experience in Siemens and Rockwell systems is a merit
Good experience in industrial communication, motion control and safety engineering

You will be part of a global organization and therefore you need to be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
