What  we offer 
The Electrical Design team play a central role within the complete ART ‘EI Electrical Infrastructure’. The Electrical Design (ED) scrum teams within the group include Infotainment; Active & Passive Safety; Propulsion (High Voltage and Low Voltage); Comfort and Chassis. We are responsible for the design and development of the complete vehicles electrical 'nervous' system leading to world class wiring harness designs. We are involved in Conceptual development including high level designs leading to the next generation of galvanic electrical structures. We integrate all electrical interfaces; balancing numerous requirements including Electrical performance, EMC, communication demands, Complexity and mechanical integration demands. 

What you’ll do
As an Electrical Design System Engineer you will together with your colleagues be responsible for developing electrical design solutions for both new and existing platforms. This means that you will define solutions based on the electrical architecture mechanisms in a fully distributed electrical system. You will participate in the overall system design process to help manage, resolve and balance conflicting requirements.  You will work with other electrical engineers & designers to lead and coordinate solutions across platforms and will work in close collaboration with the test group to ensure that requirements are testable and work as intended. 

Your main responsibilities together with the team includes
* Define solutions based on the electrical architecture mechanisms in a fully distributed electrical system. Create Schematics together with other system engineers
* Perform investigations and generate concepts on subsystem and architecture level to reach reliability, cost and performance in the electrical system
* Be part of team efforts to develop solutions cross platforms
* Support for VCC in electrical system related questions


You and your skills 
You are a person with a positive and open attitude, a team player with the ability to assess different technical solutions. You are structured, costumer focused, self-driven and results oriented.
We believe that you have folloving skills and qualifications: 
* BSc in Electrical & Electronic engineering or Mechatronics.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in HW electrical system design within automotive.
* Experience in producing schematics and logical designs. 
* Strong communication and documentation skills
* Fluent in English, written and spoken.


Knowledge within the following is meritorious: 
-    Experience in MOSFET selection / Serial Interface Power Controller / Power Supply.
-    Power distribution system development.
-    HV and LV design experience
-    Virtual Verification
-    Vehicle electrical architecture development
-    FMEA, ISO 26262, EMC
