Electrical Design Engineer

Stadler Service Sweden has a strong presence, employing more than 400 people, based in our well-equipped workshops in Tillberga, near Västerås, Hagalund, Stockholm and Eskilstuna.


YOUR TASKS
Are you passionate about technical design and creative work where you can make a difference for rail passengers? Do you like a hands-on work where you get to work close to the generation and together with your peers create innovative and sustainable solutions? Are you a person who likes to grasp and create results and want to learn new things? Then you can be the one we are looking for!
As a part of a creative and dynamic team consisting of around 15 engineers, you will develop and develop the most optimised and functional solutions from sketching to final comfort solution for the travelling public. Working in close and close collaboration with the generations, you'll be able to continually put your technology solutions to the test.
This role includes:
Create functional solutions based on a tender concept in one or more projects
Integrating electrical sub-systems into our vehicle design
Ensure solution meets all customer requirements and standards
Create vehicle circuit diagram for producing interconnection tables
Supporting mechanical design in examination of electromechanical drawings

You work closely with the Engineering team (Mechanical, Electrical & System Design), as well as with other features such as Purchasing and Production.


YOUR PROFILE
To thrive and succeed in the role of electric constructor, we see that you have:
Degree in engineering or equivalent work experience in relevant range
A few years' experience in engineering design from manufacturing industry, experience from the automotive industry or the train industry is meritorious.
Good understanding of electrical scheme, interconnection tables and technical documentation
Experience with electrical circuit diagram creation tools such as E3
Willingness to learn and develop in your professional role
Self-perpetuating and not afraid to make decisions
Self-awareness and responsiveness
Good at communicating and interacting with different features and levels
Fluent in English both in speech and writing is a requirement
Good knowledge of Swedish both in speech and writing is preferred
