What do we do?
The Electrical Design team play a central role within the complete ‘ART Electrical Infrastructure’ (ART EI). 

We are responsible for the design and development of the complete vehicles electrical 'nervous' system leading to next generation of world class galvanic electrical structures and wiring harness designs. We integrate all electrical interfaces in vehicles, balancing numerous requirements including Electrical performance, Legal demands, EMC, communication demands, Complexity, and mechanical integration demands. 

Your key tasks
As a Technical Expert for Electrical Design, you are expected to explore, identify, and keep the teams at the forefront of technology and act as the technical contact person within your field of expertise. A key part of this role will be to build networks and collaborate both internally and externally. The collaboration is expected to be diverse with a large focus on external partners and academia. You are also expected to provide guidance and support to our teams both in everyday problem solving and developing new technologies. You will have degrees of freedom to form your deliveries and to develop your own skills. You and your skills 
Required qualifications:
- PhD or Msc in Electrical & Electronic engineering or Mechatronics.
- For PhD applicants 5 years work experience in industry preferably in Electrical design (excluding PhD work).
- For MSc applicants over 12 years work experience including Electrical design.
- System design knowledge and experience with passive & active components including MOSFET
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
- Having a registered (or applying for a) patent relevant to electrical design (preferably in automotive application) is meritorious but not required.

You are already an extremely talented electrical engineer who is very proactive and interested in future technology. You are adaptable and can build relations at all levels. As such we believe you have a positive and open mindset with the desire to coach and mentor others. You are structured, costumer focused and results oriented. This role requires that you have good communication skills.
