Think is a pioneer in electric vehicles and a leader in electric vehicle technology.It is one of the few companies that has a 'ready-to-market' fully electric vehicle - The Think City.With its market-leading range, driveability and recyclability, the Think City is the first vehicle of its type to be granted pan-European regulatory safety approval and CE certification.For more information go to www.thinkev.com Work description Think has an immediate demand for an Electrical distribution systems Project/Design engineer to design and prove out updates to electrical distribution system (electric wiring harness, or "loom").This requires a combination of working in 2D CAD and prototype workshop.Position description: -Design (primarily layout) of 12v and high voltage (400v) harness systems.-Converting concepts to detailed design, and updating existing detailed design drawings.-Interaction with supplier.-Interaction with vehicle assembly plant, follow up and resolve assembly issues.-Interaction with "harness end point users" (electrical load consumers; lighting, heating, ICE, electronic modules) Think offers a stimulating international working environment and highly enthusiastic colleagues, developing an exciting product interconnecting technology, the consumer and the environment.The position will work from Think's headquarters at Fornebu Norway.Who are you?Ideally Bachelor electrical engineering or similar.Experience more important than actual qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years automotive electrical harness design or development is required.- Experience of 2D CAD system, (preferably E3) essential.- Practical harness building skills an advantage.Contact information Please apply for this position through below link.
