Electrical & Electronic Systems Team Leader

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical & Electronic Systems Team Leader in our Passengers Division in Västerås, Sweden. The Job Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating the engineering group to assure successful execution of the work.The focus of the Team leader will be to assure resources with right competence to take on the project's work. Key Accountabilities: Coordination of engineering activities in regards to the design work of the respective area within the group Represent the line function Develop the strategy and manning profile required to deliver the commitments of the Design & Installation group Provide technical leadership and ownership of the Design & Installation group deliverables Ensures that technical risks of the Design & Installation group are identified and strategies for mitigation of the risks are developed Ensure the compliance of relevant technical requirements from authorities, as well as internal standards Ensuring that the company objectives with regard to performance, documentation, quality, and costs are met Managing and coaching the workforce in the group Recruiting, developing, and reducing the group staff according to the company needs including hiring external consultants to level out work load peaks Education and Experience required: Engineering degree, preferably electrical (technical) Minimum of 10 years experience, ideally from a vehicle related industry People / Project management skills; previous line management experience would be distinct advantage Experience from the rail industry would be desirable Structured, driven and process oriented person able to lead a team of engineers Knowledge of E-CAD systems (preferably E3, ElMaster), 2D/ 3D M-CAD systems (preferably Catia V5 & Pro/E), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems is an advantage.
