We are building a state-of-the-art Gigafactory that will be one of the largest cell production facilities in Europe and construction is set to begin in 2023. To make that happened we need the best to join the team early on! If you are experienced within Electrical Engineering in the Construction industry, this opportunity is for you.
We are looking for experienced Electrical Engineers to join our in-house construction design and engineering team. This position involves supporting the electrical design team in managing the detail design quality and deliverables in line with our master project schedule. In joining us you will play an important role in building some of the first large scale European battery factories and in the transition to a carbon-free society.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support the Electrical Design Lead in the management of the Engineer of Record design deliverables from a quality of design, schedule milestones, and budget requirement perspective.
- Gather the electrical design requirements from the different disciplines.
- Ensure proper quality and design of equipment data sheets are produced in line with our internal procurement plan.
- Coordinating between electrical design and other discipline designs including the review and approval of associated electrical drawings.
- Attendance in inter-disciplinary BIM/Model reviews or 2D drawing reviews.
- Client representative at FATs for electrical equipment.
- Technical support to procurement and construction, including but not limited to submittal reviews and request for information responses.
- Technical support during the commissioning and transfer of care and custody towards the facility team.
We believe that you have:
- Bachelors or Master’s in Electrical engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in electrical design/engineering for heavy industrial, manufacturing or process facilities such as pharmaceutical, data centers, oil & gas, automotive, food & beverage manufacturing, etc.
- Experience with design, installation and/or commissioning in the field of MV and/or HV network and associated control and protection system.
- Experience in managing design work from concept stage to issue for construction drawings.
- Fluency in English. Valuable (but not required) if fluency in other languages, including Swedish
