Collaborative R&D Engineer
To succeed in this role, it will be advantageous to have a strong technical background in Electrical Engineering or HV technology . Further important qualifications are:

* B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or High Voltage Engineering.
* Fluent in English and Swedish, both verbal and written.
* Solid knowledge in MATLAB, with experience in SolidWorks, Labview, PSpice, or similar.


Your main tasks will be to:

Understand customer needs and business drivers, implementing initiatives to improve operations and satisfaction.
Build electrical test circuits and perform experiments for medium to high voltage applications.
Conduct complex technology/engineering assignments, using advanced and innovative techniques.
Communicate technical results comprehensively to various stakeholders.
Lead and conduct consulting and R&D projects, identifying and implementing innovative solutions.

The technology department leads the company's research and development programme, including materials development, and operates some of the most advanced high-voltage testing centres in the industry. NKT also operates a technology consulting centre in Sweden, where technical experts and scientists support the industry worldwide with cross-disciplinary R&D projects and technical investigations.
