Electrical Engineer

Vestas is now hiring an Electrical Engineer to be based at the Northern Europe sales headquarter in Malmö, Sweden.

Technology and Service Solutions, EMEA Regional Operation & Support.
EMEA Regional Operation & Support (ROS) is the department providing technical support to the Sales, Construction and Service units in Vestas in Europe, Middle East & Africa.

As a subdepartment in EMEA ROS the primary task of the EMEA BoP Engineering department is to provide support about grid connection, electrical works and civil works.

Responsibilities and tasks
- Grid Codes scouting & interpretations and pro-active communication with System Operators in EMEA area;
- Technical support to the sales department during contract negotiation and bid definition in relation to electrical and grid compliance issues in order to comply with the applicable standards and technical specifications of the customer;
- Participation in team selling and building value in each individual project and different customer profiles;
- Technical review of the customers? tender documentation and of the electrical work?s contractors proposals on project specific basis;
- Technical support to the Project Manager during the project construction phase in relation to electrical and grid compliance issues specific of the project;
- Technical meetings with customers, contractors, grid operators & utilities.

Qualifications and work experience
- M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems with Project Management skills
- Knowledge about HV and MV equipment
- Knowledge about grid code requirements
- Relevant work experience from electrical or wind industry
- Fluent in Swedish and English

Additional information
Primary work location is Malmö, Sweden.
Travelling activities will be expected, approximately 15-20%.
