Your mission
As the aftermarket division continuously increase the innovation and profit ambition level, we need to further strengthen our initiatives within product development. Our target is to increase our abilities when it comes to machines conversions and rebuilds, both in the existing Customized Engineered Solutions and Midlife area but also in the area of battery conversions to continue supporting our customers to improve their productivity with upgrades but also with a low environmental impact. We also need to deliver more Live Work Elimination products, both by reusing the existing products and develop new products to the market. As well you will support with other types of product development requested from our marketing department within the Parts and Services division.
To achieve this, we need to strengthen the engineering department with an electrical engineer. We believe that a mix in knowledge is preferred as we see that key to reach these goals is how we can connect the new techniques and systems with the existing fleet. In order to be successful, the ideal candidate does not only have knowledge in electrics but can find and understand the potential in connecting different systems to each other and an ability to understand how we can create new functions and products by doing so.
To strengthen our initiatives within product development, this will be into the specific areas as life work elimination and conversions but also to areas like parts proprietary, cost of goods sold and dual sourcing. You will also support other product development requested from our market department within the Parts and Services division.
Your profile
To succeed in this role, you have a natural interest for new areas and new technology. You are customer oriented and can interpreter requirements into specifications. You can naturally spot the next steps that needs to be taken and continuously investigate if we are doing the correct things.
Wee see that you have a university degree in engineering or relevant experience from previous positions. excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Swedish. You are well organized and able to operate in an interpersonal way.
Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel will be required.
