Electrical Engineer

We are now looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our Hardware team in Gothenburg.

YOUR MISSION AT VOI

PREFERRED SKILL SET

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in electric vehicle domains
- Digital, analog, circuit design, testing, and validation experience
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment, soldering, and hardware debugging.
- Familiar with quality assurance, quality control and certification of electronic products
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO EMBARK

- Be deeply involved in design, prototyping, and testing of all electrical systems inside our vehicles
- Evaluate different technologies and suppliers to find the best battery, charging and powertrain solutions for our vehicles
- Work with other engineers in analysis, investigation and resolution of vehicle problems as they related to the electrical systems
- Actively contribute to development of supplier specifications and standards for all vehicle electrical systems
- Define and maintain test specifications and procedures for all vehicle electrical systems
