Your mission
We are now looking for an engineer with extensive knowledge of electrical and software-based systems. You will get the opportunity to work with large lithium-ion battery systems, state-of-the-art electric drivetrains and advanced mobile machines. All with new challenges for more sophisticated control systems and a higher degree of automated solutions.
The work involves the responsibility to develop, implement and adapt our electrical systems in terms of hardware, system architecture and functionality to fulfil current and future requirements regarding e.g. performance, availability and safety. You will mostly work in project form on new development projects, product maintenance, base development and customer orders. You will have close contact with other departments in Örebro, for example, service, sourcing and production, as well as contacts with customers and suppliers around the world.
To create solutions based on functional requirements, specify and develop components in collaboration with sub-suppliers and verify the performance on the final product will also be a key part of your work.
Skills and knowledge
You have a university degree in a relevant area or other highly qualified engineering background.
You have some years of professional experience within electrical- and/or control systems and are used to bringing ideas from an initial concept to serial production, creating technical documentation and verifying technical solutions.
To enjoy the work you are self-propelled, responsible and your work is effectively planned to meet deadlines. You have a structured and analytical approach, enjoy combining theory and practice and you like working with details and getting the job done to our customers’ satisfaction. Furthermore, you have good interpersonal skills, enjoy teamwork and a collaborative, agile environment where communication is key. Since your work includes many local and global contacts, it is required that your English skills (verbal and written) are fluent.
We expect you to have good knowledge of mobile electrical systems and control systems. Swedish language, experience on CAD design tools and knowledge of PLM systems are meritorious.
Location and other
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel is required.
