Electrical Engineer Specialist

Main responsibilities:
The Electrical Engineering Specalist will design and develop existing and new potential products with in the electrical segement.
· Produce documents related to the electrical and automation system for commissioning’s, classification societies, flag states and customers.
· Electrical calculations and power analysis.
· Design and develop of potential products in the electrical segment and close coperation with R&D department.
· Handling of IEC standards and other Class Societys rule books related to electrical and power systems and ensure compliance.
· Prepare documentation related to electrical design for projects and products.
· Support to R&D, Sales and project managemnt with electrical engineering related to current and new potential products.
· Participation in meetings with clients and suppliers.
· Verify and approve detail design for the products according to marine conditions, give input to Supplier’s design drawings and reports.
· Involved in evaluation and selection of potential new technology.
· Perform inspections and FAT´s of equipment at sub suppliers.
· Assist and give input to improvement and development of the company's products and procedures.
· Other relevant tasks as assigned by the manager.
Background, skills and personal qualities:
· Technical degree within the field of automation and electrical engineering.
· Technical degree within the field of electric power engineering.
· 5 years relevant experience; marine industry, experience from working with scrubbers and other green technogies within the marine industry.
· English language: fluent in writing and speaking.
· Meritorius: ePlan P8.
· Service minded, analytical, responsible and cooperative ability.
