Electrical Engineer - Vehicle Circuit Diagram

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer - Vehicle Circuit Diagram in our Passengers Division in Västerås, Sweden. The Job Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of the overall vehicle circuit diagram including electrically designing the vehicle circuit diagram and supporting documentation and to verify that they are correct during the project's life cycle. Key Accountabilities: - Establish the functional requirements on the electrical apparatuses and components that are required for realization of the train operation functions. - Design and production of the vehicle circuit diagram and supporting documents. - Participate in the design and realization of the train operation functions together with the functional and electrical integrators, project engineers and system engineers. - Participate in regular design reviews during the project design phases; both internally with other engineering disciplines and externally with customers and other stakeholders. - Design of overall vehicle circuit diagrams (main circuits) to be provided in Tender documentation. - Take responsibility for development of own competence and the technical area including the process, the E-CAD system used and other tools. Education and Experience required: - Engineering degree in Electrics or minimum of 4 years relevant experience - Experience from the railway industry would be distinct advantage - Structured approach and good communication skills - Knowledge of E-CAD systems (preferable E3, ElMaster) would be an advantage - Have a capability to perform in an international operating environment and a willingness to travel - Fluent English is a must as well as Swedish.
