Our main role is to develop electronics hardware supporting attributes and functions that are closely connected to customers and the way they are experiencing the vehicle. We have just made a huge organisational change with the goal to deliver even better products to our customers. This means that you will have the opportunity to be a part of an exciting journey in forming new technologies, processes, collaborations and personal development which all needs to be improved to support our goals. The team is newly formed and as such you will have an unique opportunity to join the journey from the start and really make an impact to our product as well as your own role and position.

The team’s responsibility is stretching across all car-lines i.e. all existing and planned vehicles. Our product involves electric, electronic and mechatronic designs. Depending on platform, time, situation and product, different level of design will be required. This means that we need to handle design from the traditional way of order complete systems from a supplier to detailed PCB design for a specific component. The work stretches from concept and architectural work to quality and maintenance of the product.
You will be responsible for the collection, break-down and implementation of component requirements and technical documentation in cooperation with selected suppliers and other teams, as well as to ensure that analysis and verification requirements are created, monitored and implemented together with your team in different applications and test environments. You will be performing different kinds of quality tasks both used as way of working in the design as well as measuring the results and ensuring that quality assurance tools are used for the assignment. You will manage and perform design reviews for the assignment, handle change management and support purchasing in supplier evaluation and selection for included parts.
Do you fit the profile?
We believe that you have at least a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or equivalent. You should have minimum 3 years of experience from cross-functional work in – ideally - automotive industry working with product development in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge and understanding of the balance in integration of electronics and functions, as well as experience from development of electronic units or power distributions boxes or other vehicle electronics is needed.
You are of course fluent in English, and you are used to work in a global environment. Clear communication and transparency must come naturally to you, as well as team spirit and strong collaboration within the team and with different stakeholders. If you have been working previously in an agile set-up, this would be beneficial for us.
