Electrical Harness Engineer

The Koenigsegg Software & Electronics department is responsible for designing and developing software, electronic control units (ECU) and supporting tools for all Koenigsegg's cars. We are working very closely with the other engineering departments, production and service/aftersales. We are now looking to expand the team with skilled and experienced electrical design engineers with the ability to transform product requirements and production needs to state of the art solutions and to also further advance the electrical architecture in our cars.

The responsibilities associated with this position puts a strong requirement on your ability to cooperate with other departments in other technical domains. The development activities are primarily focused on the electrical harness schematics and electrical system in our cars.

Responsibilities

- Taking ownership of the electrical system schematics of the vehicle (harness schematics)
- Design and create Harness schematics, wiring diagrams, BOM, cables list, connectors,...
- Work closely with mechanical, prototype and manufacturing engineers in the integration of harness and electrical components
- Work with purchasing department and external suppliers for components sourcing


- Experience developing system schematics, wiring diagrams and electrical systems.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing aspects of wireless harness design both electrical and mechanical.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues in bench and prototype vehicles
