Outokumpu in Avesta is complex and the business has an exciting environment, filled with stainless steel production, committed colleagues and opportunities to develop both yourself and our ways of working. The mill includes around 750 employees.
As Electrical Manager, you act holder for Outokumpu Avesta´s electricity and preventive maintenance of the electric power plant. You have staff responsibility for a number of electricians and electrical technicians.
About the role
Lead 7 employees with responsibility to maintain high safety awareness and competence for all staff, negotiations, organizational and staff development, planning, etc
Develop the skills of your employees
Electricity manager for Avesta site (Establish electricity responsibility organization, electrical responsibility structure and electrical responsibilities)
Cooperate and communicate with relevant colleagues, departments and stakeholders inside and outside the organization to ensure delivery, execution and quality within the field
Maintain, analyze and develope the electrical installation in accordance with current legislation in order to optimize operations
Responsible for achieving the department's KPIs
You are responsible for the work environment and the external environment and ensure that regulations are followed
Initiate and drive continuous improvements within the department

About you
Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in electricity, electric power or automation, or equivalent
Several years of experience in similiar role
Experience in leadership and people management
Solid experience in high voltage and electric power plants, preferably within industry or maintenance
You are structured and responsible with capacity to make desicions
Ability to communicate and cooperate with colleagues, departments and stakeholders
Computer skills, preferably with experience in maintenance systems, planning programs & Microsoft Office
Swedish and English, both written and spoken
