Role Overview

The Electrical Power Distribution System Integrator is responsible for the overall design guidelines and integration of the electrical power distribution system, working side by side with various cross-functional teams to lead the integration of the primary and secondary power distribution systems, conversion system, network management (controls, protections, alerts and indications), and batteries. You will be responsible for the low voltage system architecture, proposing system integration requirements aligned with the system safety objectives, developing the analysis and simulation models required to validate them, and leading the system lab and flight test verification activities.

You will report to the Head of Electrical Power Systems and your daily work will be led by the Section Lead of Power Distribution Systems. You will be responsible for establishing and follow up discussion with suppliers as well as internal stakeholders. You will be part of a multi-functional team, closely working with hardware and software integration.

You will support the Power Distribution System team at program/technical reviews and will be responsible for ensuring adherence to all engineering processes/standards.
Qualifications & Experience

- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years experience in aircraft electrical power storage and distribution systems
- Experience with electrical systems design (ATA 24) including both high voltage and low voltage systems
- Experience with aircraft electrical power system certification (EASA/FAA Part 23 or 25)
- Working knowledge of Airborne hardware and software development assurance processes (RTCA DO-178 & 254)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Eagerness to work with others
- Passion for aircraft and Heart’s mission

The ideal candidate would have

- Working knowledge of systems engineering principles for safety critical systems (SAE ARP 4754/4761)
