Sweden is facing one of the largest changes in electricity supply and energy transition in modern times. Deva Mecaneyes is a key player in the field and we are now looking to strengthen our delivery capacity towards our customers.

As an electrical power engineer at Deva, you will work with the latest technology on behalf of various companies within grid, electricity and energy. We have great variety in our assignments, both when it comes to orientation and level. You’ll have many opportunities for development and the nature of each assignment is determined based on your knowledge, ambition and interest. You will be empowered with a great deal of responsibility and you will be able to independently drive projects forward in collaboration with others.



We are looking for electrical power engineers in several different areas:

Project Managers
Manages different types of projects and deliveries. Leads the operational work and is responsible for contact with the clients, steering groups and entrepreneurs/suppliers.

Relay Protection Engineers
Responsible for the relay protection systems in customer facilities. The work includes design of relay protection systems, calculation, testing and configuration of relay protection settings.

Project engineers Electrical and Mechanical
Often works in large technically heavy projects from start to finish and works, among other things, with analysis, calculations and with design.

Station Control/Programming
Works in station control and computerized control systems for hydropower, nuclear power, industry, distribution and transmission systems. Hardware and software design, configuring and commissioning of control system.

Commissioning engineers
Responsible for validating facilities. Development of test plans, protocols and configuration of relay protection.

Selective Engineers
Establishes selective plans, analyses electric power quality, disturbance investigations, and provides support to the operational management with various network issues.

System engineers
You will work with planning, dimensioning, and power calculations of public distribution networks which includes earth cables, overhead lines and substations. You ensure that the assignment is carried out in accordance with the customer’s technical guidelines.

Who You Are You are a team player and find that interactions with others are both stimulating and exciting. Professionally you are probably most comfortable when you get into complex tasks and solve problems. You have a relevant education in electricity or energy, or have a work experience that has provided you with a similar skill set. You should have strong communications skills, both verbal and written, especially in English. If you have experience from customer contact and sales within your area of expertise, we consider that to be an advantage.
