Come and join us at CEVT and become a part of a passionate team that is responsible for the Hazardous Voltage System in the Battery & HV Electronics department. We develop guidelines and training courses for electrical safety for CEVT AB facilities in Sweden. We work with HV systems engineering, electric energy storage, AC-to-DC and DC-to-DC power conversion.
This is what you will do
As a part of the HV System team you will ensure that CEVT have an up-to-date electrical training and that our facilities, test vehicles and rigs are safe to utilize for our staff. In your daily work there will be a lot of communication with stakeholders all around the company and you will be an active part of the risk analyses performed on components, test objects and facilities.
As an electrical safety engineer, you will
- Be responsible for electrical safety at CEVT’s facilities in Sweden i.e., have “the overall responsibility to ensure the safe operation of the electrical installation by setting rules and organization or framework” (EN 50110-1:2013)
- Develop and carry out trainings for our staff and contractors at CEVT
- Support and advice the development of safe products by reviewing and contributing to product development work with respect to electrical safety
Suitable background and experiences
- Minimum five years of experience of voltage class B installations
- Experience from vehicle electrification or testing of voltage class B (or higher) products
- Ability to drive meetings, motivate and present ideas - internally and externally
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Fluent in English and Swedish
- Driver’s license B
Merits
- Certified electrician for voltage class B (or higher)
- Engineering degree, B.Sc. or higher
- Workshop experience from production, service, or testing
- Agile way of working, e.g., Scrum or Kanban
