The Electrical Supervisor main job purpose is to lead and co-ordinate on site and to provide electrical expertise during the installation, in collaboration with the Mechanical Supervisor and finishing phase in order to prepare the Wind Farm for commissioning. To achieve this, all installation and finishing activities are to be executed in a safe manner considering the highest standards of safety, quality and efficiency. This role can be based in either Sweden or Finland, you must enjoy travel within the Nordic region and working away from home as this role operates on a 4 week rotation, 3 weeks working away from home and 1 week rest at home.
Specifically, the Electrical Supervisor will:
Support the Quality Manager on technical non-conformities and to ensure compliance with ‘Management of Change’ requirements for reporting, developing solutions and implementation;
Assist the Site Manager, Quality Manager and Electrical Project Engineer on foundation and component electrical continuity checks;
Support the Site Manager and Quality Manager with collating and checking for completeness, before releasing the Commissioning documentation, Statutory Inspections, and reports.
Collate the necessary information for reporting and managing non conformity reports and Incidents in UPVISE/ServiceNow or the prevailing software management tool;
Maintain close contact with Quality Manager for ordering and tracking missing parts and Requisition Notes
Responsible to submit the GCV request for Wind Turbines;
Lead with the provided documentation for First energisation and final inspections through to Final Energization;
Support in general terms on all electrical matters within the Nordex Scope of supply;
Moreover, the Electrical Supervisor will be involved in resolving quality deviations to ensure not only a smooth handover to the customer but also a smooth operation over the WTG’s lifetime.
Provide ad-hoc training to the site team and subcontractors
Skills
Completed vocational training in Electronics/Electrical or similar field
Proficiency with Health and Safety procedures/ methods like electrical safety, fall protection awareness, basic site induction, basic understanding of hazardous materials
Familiarity with several technologies such as Electrical systems (low, medium and high voltage), basic understanding of integrated electrical machinery & hydraulic systems, fibre optical systems.
Familiarity with general procedures such as Electrical installation and finishing, testing of electrical installations, quality management, phase & rotation checks and ground grid requirements
Familiarity with several tools such as Voltage testers, multimeters, amp clamps, infrared testers, mechanical measuring tools (e.g. digital calliper)
Proficient computer skills utilizing MS Office basic programs (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Good communication skills in English language (spoken and written), an advantage if you know one of the Nordic languages (Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian)
Physical requirements include the ability to climb a WT 180 meters high or taller, under variable climate conditions, without adverse effects
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and engineers
Able to work in or lead a team
Systematic problem-solving and safety orientated behaviour
Strong personal planning & organization skills
The position has a high travel requirement, both domestically and/or internationally

Experience/knowledge of the local HSE regulations and legal requirements in the Nordic countries
