Electrical Supervisor

Good English and Swedish language skills required . All qualifications must be recognised in Sweden.
Effective overall supervision of all electrical and other installation activities to ensure completion of works to a high level of workmanship and zero quality issues. To have overall supervision of the project being delivered to the agreed time scales to the current regulations/standards and to the high standard of client and the customer satisfaction. To lead and motivate a team and sub -contractor. To ensure all aspects of the project is completed to the high standard of client, compliant and exceeds the statutory and legal requirements and the appropriate approval and documentation is signed off. To liaise with the project manager and customer.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONISBILITIES:
• Overall supervision of a small electrical installation team to ensure completion with agreed time scales that exceed statutory regulations and standards.
• To ensure that customer and business requirements are understood and delivered as required.
• Ensure site rules are observed by all that are working for and on behalf of Client Staff and sub-contractors and any other 3rd party suppliers of products, goods, logistics and services.
• Liaise with Project manager on the specific requirements of the customer project.
• To be pro-active in ensuring that the work being carried out is to the highest standard in every aspect.
• To ensure completion of electrical install within or to an improved budget whilst highlighting any potential day-works or prolongation issues.
• To ensure that safe systems of work are always employed on site to achieve “zero” accidents, or near misses.
• To mark up the drawings and inform the relevant and appropriate people of the intended modifications, work to issued drawings and ensure that these are transmitted and approved before any changes are made.
• Manage and control all aspects of material and distribution of products.
• Liaise, direct and organise operatives on a daily basis.
• Check all paperwork, documentation, certifications, production of timesheets and invoices.
• Ensure completion of all Health & Safety documentation and requirements.
• Ensure all Health & Safety is cascaded to all operatives (Incl Temp Resource / Sub Co) and the levels required are supervised ensuring adherence to but not limited – Toolbox Talks, Risk Assessments, Method Statements etc..
• Carry out snagging activities to supervise and manage quality of workmanship being precise and report back to the Project manager on a regularly basis
• Ensure all deadlines and work is completed on time.
• Ensure compliance to working to the Project documentation file for the Safety and Quality standards.
• Reporting on all Health & Safety returns and deliverables for each separate project
• To ensure working to all RAMS and safe working requirements.
• To Establish and deliver the TBT’s / site briefings
• Produce daily diaries of events and capture work completed or any progress issues for record purposes.
• To always deliver professional service and customer satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS: SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• SSSTS qualification with minimum 2 years’ experience.
• Apprenticeship served JIB electrician.
• IPAF trained to 3A and 3B as minimum
• Manual handling and working at Heights.
• First Aid trained
• Strong people management and communication skills.
• Demonstrate excellent team motivation.
• Demonstrate reasonable computing skills & Email wording.
