Electrical System Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical System Engineer in our Passengers Division in Västerås, Sweden. The Job Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for system design of auxiliary electrical system, battery system, high voltage system. Key Accountabilities: - Responsible for load calculations, specifying system functionality, components, circuit diagram - Specify technical requirements on traction system. - Support Procurement with all technical documentation necessary for a successful sourcing of the system/ocomponents and conduct technical evaluation of supplier bids - Ensuring that technical risks for the area of responsibility are identified and strategies for mitigation of the risks are developed - Lead a successful integration (electrical, functional and physical) of the systems - Ensure verification of systems with the suppliers and conduct type test with customer - Creating technical requirement documentation, system descriptions, interface documents Education and Experience required: - Engineering degree in Electrics or Physics - Minimum of 3 years relevant experience - Experience from the railway industry would be a distinct advantage - Structured approach and excellent communication skills - Fluent English is a must. Fluency in Swedish would be an advantage
