ESS is now looking for up to two Facility Management Electrical Technicians for the Facility Management Division organised within the Project Directorate. As an Electrical Technician you must be a service orientated person who can adapt well to new challenges every day.
This role will require both hands on electrical repairs and maintenance but also operation of both high and low voltage electrical equipment. You will also assist the FM Electrical Team in the planning and organization of all maintenance work but also for ensuring safe operation of the ESS electrical infrastructure.
You may also need to work with smaller construction projects and you may also assist the FM team with maintenance of the different installation systems, such as fire alarms, heating and cooling etc. You must have the experience and competence to identify and solve problems independently and in coordination with the group. The tasks may be adjusted as the project progresses.
Job description
Your main area of responsibilities as a Facility Management Electrical Technician will be to:
• Perform safe switching and LO/TO of both high and low voltage electrical distribution systems
• Perform electrical maintenance routines as required and input all relevant information into the Infor EAM maintenance management system
• Carry out operational procedures whilst working with ESS electrical plant and equipment.
• Work alongside our electrical partner to ensure maintenance routines are completed and normal operations are resumed.
• On-call for FM electrical as part of a rotation
• Be part of the ESS emergency response team for electrical operations.
Qualifications
• Good language and interpersonal skills are needed.
• Documented work experience with the above mentioned tasks within a relevant process industry or equal industrial sites for at least 5 years is desired.
• Experience in developing and/or maintaining maintenance plans for electrical systems is a merit.
• The candidate must be an “Electrical Technician” with either a documented electrical qualifications or applicable apprenticeship combined with relevant work experience.
We truly believe that you shall have excellent skills in collaborating with persons with different knowledge and backgrounds.
You shall be committed to performing your own work tasks, but also keen to collaborate and to help out the rest of the FM team in their different disciplines. And when needed, assist in maintenance of their installation systems.
You also have a well-developed ability to listen, consult others and to communicate and document proactively.
Good oral and written English skills and a well-developed ability for both collaborative and independent work are expected.
As a person you take great pride in maintaining a high level of quality in all the work you carry out.
Working outside normal working hours and on call may be required.
Duration & Location
The position is permanent with six months initial probationary period
Your work place will be situated in Lund, Sweden.

The position is to be filled as soon as possible.
