Electrical Test Engineer

Good English & Swedish Language required. All Qualifications must be recognised in Sweden.
Effective overall capability to carry out inspection and testing on any type of electrical installation. To inspect & test installations to the current regulations, to the high standards of the client and to customer satisfaction.
To ensure all aspects of the electrical installation are acceptable & compliant and meet the statutory and legal requirements and the appropriate documentation is completed for Qualifying Supervisor review.
To liaise with the Qualifying Supervisor, project manager and customer.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONISBILITIES:
• To carry out inspection & testing on electrical installations.
• To ensure all electrical safety rules, guidelines and procedures are followed
• To ensure all electrical installations meet the requirements of the current edition of BS7671
• To ensure any and all updates and amendments to current regulations are followed.
• To carry out snagging/remedial activities, to supervise and manage quality of workmanship, being precise and reporting back to the Qualifying Supervisor and Project manager on a regular basis.
• Engage with the workforce and QS in creation of benchmark DPI standards
• To produce inspection & testing results for submission to the QS.
• Ensure all deadlines are met and work is completed on time.
• To ensure work is carried out following RAMS and other safe working requirements.
• To always deliver professional service and customer satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS: SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Apprenticeship served JIB electrician or Swedish equivalent
• BS7671 2018 Wiring Regulations - 18th edition
• C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing, or 2394 & 2395 Initial Verification and certification of electrical installations, Periodic inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations
• IPAF trained to 3A and 3B as minimum
• Manual handling and working at Heights.
• First Aid trained
• Demonstrate reasonable computing skills & Email wording.
