The VCB Workshop within Scanias Charging and Power Distribution development department is running both prototyping, test, verification & compliance on both component and complete vehicle level. 

We consists of both engineers and mechanics and the group members possess deep knowledge in mechanical prototyping, vehicle electronics high / low voltage, software systems and charging components. We make sure that the charging system and services we develop not only have the right performance & functionality but also comply with current safety & security legislation and are of the highest quality.

Your tasks  

As we are now expanding the testing & compliance team, you will be part of developing not only the future product but also methodologies and standards going forward and making sure our products comply with current and future regulations and standards, such as UN ECE-R100.
In your role as Electrification engineer within test & compliance, you will work together with the entire group and in close collaboration with responsible designers. You will carry out both functional & performance tests on complete vehicles but also plan, exectute and act as the expert engineer to external institutes and authorities in regards to electrification compliance testing.


• You will be involved in driving the ECE-R100 compliance & test coordination including planning, preparation, problem identification, verification and certification.
• You will be given the opportunity to create many contacts both within the company but also towards external partners, companies and institutes.
