Electrification officer

Scania has taken the lead in the journey towards a sustainable transport system. After the launch of our electrified truck for urban transport, we will now launch solutions for regional and long haulage transports. The project has started and we need more colleagues to help us finish on time.

We are now looking for an Electrification Officer to join us on our journey.

On this journey, we offer you a role that allows you to get full visualization of all Scania electrification projects and where Scania is heading with regards to electrification. We offer assignments with the objective to improve the way we work and our alignment to company strategies, cross functions and other teams within Project Purchasing. This position allows you will fly high and dive deep where some assignments will be recurring and others ad hoc.

Scope of work


• Participate in the definition of a Strategic Plan for Purchasing Elecrification , its alignment to cross functions and execution
• Develop alternative processes and methods to the way we work  
• Represent purchasing in cross-functional project fora , ensure alignment and removal of obstacles to reach success
• Internal purchasing coordination and run decision meetings specific to eMobility
• Support manager Purchasing Electrification in BVT, SDT and OSG
• Support coordination within TRATON

Purchasing Electrification is quite new and you will be part of with management team. Your profile

The role we offer spans over many different aspects and will require a person being both on a holistic strategic level and at the same time working through the details. It helps if your presentation skills and ability to visualize complex matters are on a good level. We target experienced purchasing employees with leadership ambitions, even managers, preferably with a previous Project Purchasing background at Scania. You have an academic degree and speak English fluently.
