We are now seeking an experienced electromagnetic R&D engineer to play a key role in our effort to build expertise and capability in electromechanical devices. Your mission
In this role, you will be an important player in a team developing tomorrow’s state-of-the-art rock drills and rotation units. You will help safeguard that we are the undisputed leading supplier within the field in which we operate and push the boundaries of electromagnetic actuators.
You will be central in developing our abilities within electric drives and taking our rock drilling products into the field of electrification. As our next engineer, you will work on innovative technology concepts through long-term basic development related to rock drilling, smarter rock drills and energy efficiency.
Your Profile
To be a great fit for this role you need to be an experienced electromagnetic engineer with a master´s degree in engineering or another relevant field.
We expect you to have a broad knowledge base with a focus on designing and dimensioning electromechanical devices and power electronics.
As our corporate language is English, verbal, and written communication skills in English are required.
As for your personal skills we believe that you are a curious person with an ability to manage and navigate through new projects, from start to end. In collaboration with colleagues, you enjoy finding new ways of working. You like a work environment where you prioritize your own time and like to be part of a culture open to change.
