JOB DESCRIPTION:
Friday is looking for an Electronic Development Engineer on behalf of our client who wants to join and work in product development. Our client is one of the world's largest manufacturers of products such as washing machines, dishwashers, refrigerators, and vacuum cleaners.
In this role, your mission is to support the Embedded technology team in the development of new products and maintenance of existing products. This includes creating, doing hands-on testing, and improving technical solutions and products. This is a perfect position for you who are at the beginning of your career or have 1-2 years of experience in the work field and wants to grow in the field of consumer electronics design. You will take on a lot of responsibility and we are looking for someone who has a great interest in technology and electronics.
To succeed in this role, it is important that you are willing to work cross-functionally to find the best possible solutions for newly developed CX wellbeing products. As a person, you must be technically and analytically inclined, creative, solution-oriented, and proactive in your way of working. Furthermore, it is also important that you speak fluent English and like to be in a multicultural environment to fit into the role.
In detail, you will:
Participate in product development projects within the Embedded team.
Develop and improve embedded hardware solutions for products in the Wellbeing product area such as battery-operated vacuum cleaners, air purifiers, sous-vides cookers etc.
Implement new and robust electronic hardware designs.
Maintain and improve the way of working, process, and documentation.
Support in developing embedded software solutions and test applications.
Evaluate test results and create new solutions and improvements based on these results.
Support test setups for hardware system tests and product tests.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
A master's degree in electronics engineering or bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of experience in hardware development for embedded/analog/power designs.
Knowledge in embedded electronics design.
Ability to work in a cross-functional and international team.
Ability to follow and improve the development process.
Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, as the languages will be used in the work.
Experience of OrCad and/or Allegro EDA I positive.
Experience of working with development tools such as PLM, Bugzilla, Jira etc is an advantage.

EMPLOYMENT:
This is a consulting assignment meaning you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition is for the assignment to result in permanent employment at the client company after a 6-12 month consultancy.
