We are looking for a new colleague to join our new team
There is now an opportunity for You to join us in the development of our new computational ECUs in the T3 architecture. We have a need of skilled electronical hardware engineers within the new group for Semiconductors & Computational Modules.
The team is responsible for the complete chain from specification and development to maintenance of two new computational modules/ECUs, all done in close cooperation with our suppliers throughout the world.
We do this with the high Volvo quality standards in mind, to secure a profitable solution for our complete range of brands within the Volvo Group.
Position description
As HW Component Owner you will understand the needs, specify and together with a supplier develop one of the new ECUs in our new T3 EE Architecture. You will be responsible for securing that the technical solution, electronics and mechanics, fulfills our needs. The mission is to define the requirements, work close with our supplier and secure that the delivered ECU meets the target milestones and is physically installed properly in the target environment. The development will be made using the functional safety standard ISO-26262.
You will in this role work together with an Engineering Task Leader, leading a cross functional team, often with global representation. In addition, you will also cooperate with external suppliers to develop the electronics and ECU housing.

Qualifications
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar.
At least 5 years of experience within EE hardware development of embedded systems.
Fluent in English, written and spoken.
A successful experience in electrical HW development will be an important merit.
Experience from Advanced Product Quality Planning is a merit.
ISO 26262 knowledge is a merit.
