Electronic warfare integration and verification engineer

We are looking for a skilled system integrator that enjoy working in teams and have a passion for problem solving



Your role:

The work will be in the interface between software, hardware, microwave and the customer in our complex real-time systems.
We are currently two line units working with system integration and verification and we are looking to expand in order to meet our future needs. We also give customer trainings and interact with the customer a lot.

The position includes a lot of communication, both internally and externally. At times, travel and foreign assignments is a part of our projects.

The work involves specification, documentation and a lot of problem solving. We constantly work to create high-performing, accountable and effective teams for our projects. There will be many opportunities to grow your competence in this job.



Your profile:

You probably have a Master degree in Engineering Physics or related discipline, or equivalent work experience. It is a plus if you have professional experience in software engineering.



As a person you like problem solving and to try new solutions on a target hardware. You like working in teams and are committed, driven and creative. You should have interest in how parts fit in to the bigger picture and like to set high goals. Experience or certification in ISTQB or other similar methodology is a plus.

As we are working in a global organization it is vital that you are fluent in both Swedish and English, verbally and in writing.



This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.



What you will be part of:

The section is a very competent and driven group that integrates and verifies the parts of Saabs radar warner and ESM/ELINT systems. It includes functions for detection and categorization of radar stations as well as generation of jamming functions for self-protection. These systems are used at all times to generate a situational awareness for the pilot and for those that plan flight missions which poses high requirements on reliability and real-time performance.
The group is also responsible for training the customers in our systems.
